2. Data Sourcing and Accuracy
The data presented in the Directory is aggregated and republished from publicly available databases provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). While we strive to present this data clearly, we do not independently verify its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.
- Compliance expiration dates are calculated estimates based on the "Year Placed in Service" data reported by HUD. Actual legal compliance periods may vary due to extended use agreements, waivers, or state-specific housing finance agency (HFA) regulations.
- Tenant demographic data is sourced from HUD's 2022 datasets. Due to HUD non-disclosure rules, demographic data for properties with fewer than 11 units, or specific minority populations under a certain threshold, may be masked or omitted to protect tenant privacy.
